Sea Freight Service
Global Sea Freight Services
Cost-Effective, Reliable Ocean Transport
The world’s oceans are the superhighways of global commerce, offering the most economical way to move large volumes of goods between continents. But getting it right involves much more than just a ship. It requires planning, precise documentation, and constant oversight.
At Shipping Destination, we provide the steady hand and deep expertise needed to move your sea freight seamlessly. We treat your cargo with the same care and attention you would, because we know its journey is critical to your success. We don’t just book space on a vessel; we manage the entire process, ensuring a smooth connection between your factory floor and your customer’s door.
Full Container Load (FCL)
When your shipment requires its own dedicated container, FCL offers the most security and a direct transit path. You have exclusive use of the container, meaning it is loaded and sealed at your facility and remains that way until it reaches its final destination. Best for: Larger shipments, valuable or sensitive cargo, and when you need to control the loading environment.
Less-than-Container Load (LCL)
For smaller shipments that don’t require a full container, LCL is the ideal, cost-effective solution. We consolidate your cargo with other shipments heading to the same destination, so you only pay for the space you use. Best for: Small to medium-sized businesses, shipments under 15 cubic meters, and maintaining a flexible supply chain without the cost of a full container.

Frequently Asked Question
Air freight involves speed, precision, and compliance—so it’s natural to want clarity before you ship. Below are answers to the most common questions our clients ask. If you don’t see your question here, our team is just a call or click away.
A: Think of it like this: FCL (Full Container Load) is like renting a whole moving truck for yourself. You have exclusive use of the container, which is ideal for larger shipments (typically over 15 cubic meters) or when you need higher security.
LCL (Less-than-Container Load) is like a ride-share for your cargo. Your goods share space in a container with other shipments. It’s the perfect, cost-saving option for smaller shipments that wouldn’t fill a whole container on their own. Our team can help you quickly determine which is the most economical and effective choice for your specific needs
A: Transit time for sea freight is influenced by the origin, destination, and specific carrier route. A trip across the Pacific, for example, can take anywhere from 15 to 45 days. When you request a quote, we don’t give you a vague window. We provide a realistic and detailed transit time estimate based on current schedules, so you can plan your inventory and operations with confidence.
A: The final price is determined by several key factors: the container size (20ft, 40ft, etc.) or the volume of your LCL cargo, the origin and destination ports, current fuel costs, and any special handling required (like refrigeration). We believe in total transparency, so our quotes provide a clear, itemized breakdown of all costs. There are no surprises.
A: While we and our carrier partners take every precaution, the open ocean comes with inherent risks. Standard carrier liability is very limited and often won’t cover the full value of your goods. We strongly recommend and can easily arrange comprehensive cargo insurance to ensure your investment is fully protected from door to door, giving you complete peace of mind.
A: Port-to-port means we manage the ocean journey from the port of origin to the port of destination. You would be responsible for getting the cargo to the first port and collecting it from the second.
Door-to-door is our all-inclusive service. We handle everything: picking up the cargo from your factory or warehouse, managing the ocean transit, clearing customs, and delivering it directly to its final address. Most of our clients choose this option for its convenience and simplicity.
A: The key documents are typically the Commercial Invoice (details the value of the goods) and the Packing List (details what’s in the shipment). Depending on the destination and product, other paperwork might be required. The good news is, you don’t need to be an expert. Our team will tell you exactly what we need from you, and we will manage the complex process of filing the rest on your behalf.
